Geometry

Last week we began looking at 2D shapes. We are learning to identify the shapes and their attributes such as how many sides and corners.

As part of this we used the app Piccollage. The children worked with a buddy and took photos on an iPad of a chosen 2D shape. They then arranged them with a background and gave a title (in both English and Maori) then added their names. The originals are up on the back wall of the classroom but you can check them out here too.
