Exploring Time week 6
This week we focused on Being Kind during our Exploring Time.
The children decided that using manners, sharing, taking turns and asking others to join in their play was an important part of Being Kind.

Here are some photos of the activities we did.

Our letter focus this week has been 'f'. We have been working towards
making the parts of our frog puppets all week. We finally put them altogether on Friday
We love how they look now they are finished!

The frogs even have personailities.

We have been waiting all year to play with the  Elefun. We had
to take turns.

It was tricky watching and eating the butterflies.

So much fun.

These boys worked together so well...even when packing up.

Packing up is a team activity in R13. We all work together.

'F' is for fish too. We read the story 'The Rainbow Fish' (see literacy page on this blog)
and found out that sharing makes us feel good about
ourselves as well as being kind to others.

After we packed up our frogs loved singing the song 5 Speckled Frogs.
It can be viewed on this blog on the literacy page.

The class were AMAZING! They were brave and took up the challenge impressively.
The photos show our practice.

The children shared some of their rain art pictures.
The rest of the pictures are up on the display board in the school office.

Super Friends

Today we learned about how to be a  'Super Friend'.

We learned that when we have a problem with friends we
need to Stop, think (about which super power to use) and then what to do to solve the problem.

Our Super powers are  -

Here are our amazing Super Friends of Room 13.
