Awesome Athletics

Wow! What a fabulous morning we had with our Junior School Athletics.

The weather was just right. 

The children started the day full of energy and enthusiasm... and ended the day happy but exhausted. I hope they sleep well tonight. I know I will.

As part of Mental wellbeing this week,  we read the story Silly Billy.
In this story a little boy has worries which keep him awake. His grandmother gives him a 'Worry Doll' to share his worries with.
Today during Exploring time we made our own Worry Dolls.
We used big wooden pegs and wound wool around them to make clothes.

Today we had a game of 'Tug of War' as our introduction to working with fractions.
The idea around the tug of war is that each side needs to be equal.
